Harlan Publick at Ironworks

Completion Year: 2014
Beinfield Project Team: Bruce Beinfield FAIA, Mark Goodwin AIA, James Wassell
General Contractor: JCS Construction Group, Inc.

“There’s a scene going on at Harlan Publick, and the vibe is lively and contemporary. This gastro pub in SoNo is ensconced in a courtyard created by the Iron Works complex, surrounded by townhouse-style residential units. Inside, beneath a ceiling of gleaming ducts and wood beams, the industrial-rustic space has walls of reclaimed wood, tin and faux-concrete.

The U-shaped bar was hopping on a recent Wednesday night. High-topped communal tables had surprisingly comfortable metal stools. Floor-to-ceiling windows looked out the courtyard’s fountain and resort-like outdoor seating area complete with a fireplace”.
