“Rowayton Renaissance” by Alexa Stevenson Connecticut Cottages & Gardens March 2014

Originally built in 1846 in the heart of Rowayton as a summer hotel, then became a private residence and then returned again to a single room occupancy hotel. This Landmark building was transformed into three 3,000 sf, private luxury condominiums. The team worked closely with the Norwalk Preservation Trust and the Rowayton Historical Society to bring the exterior to its original Italianate glory. Masterfully restoring its stylized square cupola, wide projecting cornice and heavy brackets, its ornamented windows and doorways, and most importantly the bowed wraparound porch.
